Medieval Korea Quick Write

Answer one of the following questions:

  • Think back to the readings on Korea. How do you think the country's location has helped and/or hurt its cultural development?

  • Why do you think that Korea was not exploited by western powers in the same way that Qing China was?

  • Think of Korea's history with both China and Japan. Do you think that partially explains North Korea's belligerence and hostility towards the world? Why or why not?

Your answer should be at least one full paragraph. A paragraph contains 5-8 complete sentences and at least 100 words.
