In 2016, I decided to continue my annual trip to go watch Cal (likely) lose to a school in the Pacific Northwest. Initially, we had planned on going to Oregon State, but due to a conflict with the Rams, we decided to make the trek out to Washington State. Up to this point, I had only been to the western part of the State of Washington, so it was interesting to experience the eastern half of the state. It is much drier than the west, but also much colder. Because Pullman (where Washington State University is located), is so close to the state border with Idaho, I also decided to make a quick pitstop there just to say that I have been to Idaho.
