After nearly seven years away, I finally found my way back to Europe and my favorite city: London. I was not in London for all too long, however, being that I was planning on visiting a number of different places during my Spring Break, but I still had to spend a couple of days in the British capital. While in London, I tried to squeeze in as much as possible. On the first day, right after landing, I was able to walk through the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament), went to go see Les Misérables, and then walked along the River Thames at night. Then, on my second day, I walked almost 15 miles from Hyde Park, meandering through different streets and neighborhoods until I made it back to Westminster and then the British Museum. Finally, after returning from Greece, I spent the remaining hours I had near Tower Hill before heading back to Gatwick Airport. Thankfully, I would not have to wait years again before returning being that (as of this writing), I have returned to London every year since this trip.
