2010 • Chicago
June 19, 2010 to June 21, 2010
Chicago is an interesting place. Nestled in the midwest, Chicago was once the “Second City” of the United States (now overtaken by Los Angeles), second only to New York in terms of population and culture. Heading into the 2010 baseball season, it was announced that the Angels would be playing the Chicago Cubs at historic Wrigley Field for the first time in franchise history. The two had played in Anaheim once before, but this would be first time the Angels would travel to Chicago to take on the Cubs. Because of this historic milestone, my cousin and I decided to fly out to Chicago to see the Angels and the Cubs and then tour Wrigley Field. While the two games that we went to were not all that great (two blowouts each), it was definitely a memorable experience and I look forward to the next time I visit Chicago (probably for another baseball game).
